Learning Aim 2 - "Know the major bones in the body"
Intro: All the bones in our skeletal system have different names. This year you need to learn some of their scientific names. Have a think about why they all need unique names?

The following are two sites which allow you to practice SOME of the names of the bones you need to know. Just remember you need to know all the bones from the diagram in Task A.

- You can label the skeleton diagram below without reference to any notes
- You can point to and name all the major bones in your own body
Task A:
- Put a heading in your notes: "Dem bones"
- Download the blank unlabelled skeleton from HERE and insert it into your notes
- Use your prior knowledge, and google to fill in all the blank labels (make sure you find the scientific name AND the common name; eg "patella" and "kneecap").
